Which prevent you from getting off of the trails without flipping your truck or trailer. As the name suggests, this map is full of ridges. But as someone who really enjoys going off the beaten path and finding quicker routes, I found this map degrading. What's so bad about that? Isn't that the whole point of the game? Yes my dear redditor, you are correct. Now this map is punishing for one single reason, It forces you to stick to the trails. Which has a lumber mill, an easier log trip, and an interesting surprise waiting for you. You start on a mountain-top lumber mill, which you can choose to load your trucks and descend down the mountain, or you can descend alone, and cross the map in search of the airport. I don't want to spoil this map very much, but The ridges get THIN in places, taking extreme patience and concentration to even make it over. But a small word of advice, don't take a truck that's as wide as the entire state of Alaska. As a sucker for environmental storytelling, this map is king. The custom assets the author uses to set the ambiance is really cool. And to be honest has some of the best looking realistic ridges and trails to drive through.

I Still can't get over this map, it's based on a real life location if I'm correct. But when it's paired with the last two, it's a trio of pain and disaster.

Lastly, The mud is very sticky in this map, while in itself isn't that bad. Also Johnny Appleseed must have gone crazy here, because there are so many fricking trees! Which also hinder your view, and the cockpit view doesn't really help because of the large amount of near vertical ledges. Causing it to jolt around quite frequently, which isn't good in situations where you found the perfect spot where you can actually see what your doing, only for it to jolt somewhere and blind you long enough for mistakes to be made. Secondly, if you thought the camera was bad by default, whooooboy are you in for a treat! The way the map geography is, it constantly gets in the way of the camera. The map also forces you to go basically sideways off a steep cliff going straight down in some points, so you can see how well that goes. Or eject you into the air and completely ruin your run. Now what's so bad about that? Well have you ever actually wedged yourself between many small rocks in this game? Long story short, the game doesn't like that, so it decides to bonk you around, taking damage from seemingly no reason. The first is there is actual rock climbing on main routes. Now this map is absolutely insane, and I'm calling it number 1 for three reasons. And while I haven't played every one, these ones are what I have found so far to be the absolute apex of difficulty, skill, and absolute pure rage.

So, I have played many mod maps in recent times.
